Unconstituted Groups
Capability building for individuals or unconstituted groups: If you are an unconstituted group or individual we are aware you may not be used to writing funding applications. Are you closely connected to or do you have a constituted charity or community organisation in your community who could work with you to support your application? If so we are prepared to pay a fee of up to £500 to that organisation to help you to develop the skills you need to write your bid.
The Factory Foundation want to encourage individuals and unconstituted groups with great ideas to develop their bid writing skills so that they can be confident to submit a proposal that answers the questions outlined in the application form. If you are a constituted organisation keen to support individuals or unconstituted groups to apply to one of our grant rounds, we want to support you to help them to build their confidence and capability to submit a proposal. We are offering £500 for constituted organisations to mentor and support unconstituted applicants (in whatever way you feel is appropriate) to enable them to produce an application that addresses the areas we outline on our website under tips for your application. Please be clear that this amount cannot be used as a bid writing fee to write the proposal on their behalf.
We are not expecting you to take legal or financial responsibility for the delivery of the project.
